AVP – Claims Operations

A large General Insurance Company to identify a “AVP – Claims Operations” for their operations in Kolkata.
Interested candidates should be Graduates / Post Graduates with 6 – 8 experience working in the BFSI sector.
The Role:
• To develop and negotiate operational plans for the National Support function that are consistent with Claims objectives and are characterized by ‘stretch’ KPIs
• To provide a central framework for the management, resourcing, reporting and Post Implementation Review of major events.
• To assist the Head of Claims in the development and management of the National Claims budgeting and business planning process.
• To build and maintain a mutually supportive, consistent and transparent relationships with other Senior Claims managers and relevant stakeholders.
• To undertake centrally driven audits and health check nationally to ensure the network meets its procedural and legislative obligations
• To implement measures to ensure the consistency and quality of the national support across the network.
• To lead a team and ensure all staff have the have the skill, cohesion and engagement to effectively manage the national lodgment function and maintain a strong insight into people metrics.
• To develop and build relationships with suppliers that will trust and transparency to facilitate the development of a partnership based relationship
