Key Responsibility Areas

The incumbent in the Analyst/ Sr. Analyst position will be responsible for leading research assignments for clients based in North America. The scope of work will include identifying the best sources of data, undertaking secondary research, and providing sound analysis.

Skills and competencies:
• 4+ years of work experience in the management consulting, market research, financial services, telecom and/or IT industry.
• Should have worked on custom research project like
o Industry Analysis, Trend Analysis
o Competitive Analysis,
o Blog Analysis,
o Company Analysis,
o Media Audit
o Market Sizing etc.
• Must have the ability to think strategically and analytically in order to effectively assess each research assignment
• Must be able to draw clear and concise conclusions regarding research to present to various account staffers and executive leaders across the client teams
• Demonstrated experience in using various research databases and tools i.e., Factiva and/or Lexis Nexis, academic databases (Proquest, Amigo), Hoovers Online, Internet research - (Google), Finance websites (Yahoo Finance)
• Demonstrated experience in using MS Office tools

Knowledge/ Skills /Qualification /Experience

• MBA/PGDBM from Premier B-Schools
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Strong problem solving and Communication skills (verbal and written)
• Strong analytical and project management skills
• Excellent client interaction skills including very good writing skills
• Should be an independent thinking, self motivated individual with a go getting attitude.
• This person must be a self-starter, be able to juggle multiple projects and work under varying deadlines.
