Practice Head (Oil & Gas/ Energy)

Role: To lead the Company's Engineering Design Services Oil & Gas Practice group
Responsibilities: Following would be the responsibilities of the Practice Head
1.To actively mine & pursue new deals in Oil & Gas domain
2.Responsible for delivery of Design projects in this domain
3.Own P&L
4.Manage a team of 100+ Engineers
5.Develop a strategy road map to establish Wipro Oil & Gas EDS (Engineering
Design Services) Practice as a leading player in the Engineering Service
industry
6.Develop an eco-system of technology, resourcing partners for this domain
7.Develop, mentor and Train EDS engineers in the Oil & Gas domain & tools
Experience: Minimum of 15 Years experience in Oil & Gas/Power domain with hands
on experience in executing FEED (Front End Engineering Design) projects and
worked across EPC companies in multiple geographies
Education: B.E /M.Tech - Mechanical/Civil/Production
Skill Sets Required:
· Strong experience in Project Management handling capital intensive Engineering
projects
· Good understanding of Oil & Gas domain
· Experience in Piping & Plant design
· Expertise in reviewing P&ID
· In depth understanding of Design Standards related to Oil & Gas Engineering
· Good Communication
· Experience working with multinational customers and international projects
· Good Business & financial acumen
· Preferably a PMP Certified
· Experience in Asset Reliability & As Built Engineering
