I have an urgent position for which i am looking for relevant key account
management/modern trade/FMCG sales candidatures:

The company: one of the largest FMCG company in the world

Location: Kolkatta

Position: Market Development Manager

Key Responsibilities:

· To design and drive the blueprint of growth – by Brands, Packs,
Channels, Key Customers and Geographies across East Market Unit.

· Develop specific brand and Key Account solutions resulting in a
win-win situation

· Play a lead role in developing and execution of AOP (Annual
Operating Plan), including planning & implementation of marketing
initiatives

· Set clear performance expectations to achieve volume growth. This
will include aligning Senior Management on investment in new equipment,
pricing, promotions & Key Customer marketing to achieve company’s sales &
profit objectives.

· Developing local opportunities in sync with Business Unit
priorities

· Develop and Drive Channel Initiatives in the Organized and
Traditional Trade

· Develop & Drive new sales & marketing initiatives in emerging
channels

· Develop market presence standards (merchandising and signage) in
coordination with Market Unit General Manager, Unit Manager, Central
Marketing and Sales function

· Drive brand activation through promotions / Weak Area Plan /
Strong Area Plan / Regional marketing programs

· Grow volume, revenue and share in assigned customers through
wiring, Customer Development Agreement execution, and developing
customer-specific standards for merchandising range, promotions, pricing and
equipment

· Identify and evaluate new business opportunities (new distribution
/ new customers)

Profile

Experience and Qualification

- Sales and Marketing experience with FMCG companies with a minimum
experience of 4-6 years – MBA from Premier institute would be preferred – Strong presentation, analytical, inter personal, leadership and
negotiation skills.
